A psychologist can be irreplaceable in family law proceedings

The law firm L/R/P advokáti started working with a psychologist within the framework of family law. This is a unique connection, the goal of which is to offer the client comprehensive help in difficult life situations. "Proceedings in family law matters are accompanied by strong emotions, especially when decisions are made about children. A psychologist can be very helpful in stabilizing the family situation," says Martina Lysinová, attorney and author of the idea, in an interview.

Why did you decide to work with a psychologist in family law?

At L/R/P advokáti, we want our clients to receive quality legal services. We cooperate, for example, with tax and accounting consultants, fund managers or developers. Family law includes a wide range of problems, where the factual basis is dynamic interpersonal relationships. And the goal of cooperation with a psychologist is that interpersonal relations create a good basis for providing high-quality legal services and solving clients' problems comprehensively. Family is the foundation, which is why clients care about it more than anything else. Business relationships tend to be more rational, and a sophisticated businessman can navigate these waters relatively easily with the help of a lawyer, economist or tax advisor. However, even the most experienced businessman is often the weaker player in a dispute with his wife.
