Mary's Meals is a charity project that our law firm supports. The aim of the project is to fight famine in the world and an effort to provide food for children from the poorest countries. This international charity movement introduces a system of school catering in starving countries with more than 80 thousand volunteers from local communities preparing food from locally grown ingredients for children without requesting financial compensation. Apart from food, children can also access education which opens the doors out of poverty for them. Thanks to Mary's Meals, more than 1,6 million children from 19 third-world countries do not go hungry every day. The message of the project is that every child deserves education and enough food. Civil society organisation Mary's Meals Slovensko has announced a public fundraiser with 100% received donations being allocated directly to the Mary’s Meals school catering project thanks to the volunteer work of the organisation's members.
