L/R/P lawyers became members of the Slovak Green Building Council SKGBC - Slovak Green Building Council, with which we want to actively cooperate.

SKGBC is the main ambassador of sustainable construction in Slovakia. It brings together companies from various sectors of the economy supporting high-quality construction and renovation of buildings according to the principles of sustainability. We are aware of the importance of green solutions for our entire company and we are glad to have found a new partner in this direction.

The partner and leader of the energy law team, Barbora Balunová, welcomed the executive director Mrs. Barbara Plachú to the premises of our office in order to establish the basic goals and intersections of our cooperation.

Green energies, as well as sophisticated and controlled reductions in energy consumption, have an impact not only on our wallets, but also on the EU's overall energy security. From the point of view of the legislation, the implementation of requirements for increasing the energy efficiency of buildings will be a big challenge. The EPBD directive brings very specific requirements, technical indicators, climate zones and deadlines for fulfilling the requirements.

We are excited about new connections and are ready to actively participate in SKGBC activities, especially legislative ones.
